Sierra is building an AI agent platform that enables enterprises to deliver better, more human customer experiences. The company partners with industry leaders including SoftBank, Uber, Rivian, CLEAR, and Sutter Health. Founded by Bret Taylor (former Salesforce co-CEO, Facebook CTO, Google Maps co-creator) and Clay Bavor (18-year Google veteran who led Google Labs, AR/VR, and Google Workspace), Sierra is headquartered in San Francisco with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia. The Consumer Business Insights team focuses on verticals that power everyday commerce and operations: CPG brands, logistics networks, commercial real estate, automotive & mobility, transportation, industrial manufacturing, consumer electronics, facilities management, construction, energy, and utilities. Sierra's AI agents handle order tracking, account management, field service scheduling, billing support, and other mission-critical workflows tailored to each industry's voice and processes. As Enterprise Sales Director for Majors in this vertical, you will independently drive complex enterprise deals end-to-end, managing a broad book of business with strong autonomy. You'll lead 6- and 7-figure deal cycles from prospecting through close, multi-threading to C-suite stakeholders and building durable relationships across customer organizations. You'll identify and manage deal risk proactively, build rigorous stakeholder maps, and make strategic calls on pricing, escalation timing, and deal strategy in partnership with your manager and senior leadership. You'll leverage Sierra's co-founders for executive engagement when it moves deals, act as a visible leader on deal teams, and raise the bar for the broader sales organization. The role is AI-native: you'll use AI tools for account research, personalized outreach, call summarization, pipeline forecasting, and deal execution, automating low-value tasks to reinvest time in high-value customer relationships. You bring 8–10 years of enterprise customer-facing sales experience closing large accounts, a proven track record managing $1M+ quotas and running complex 6- and 7-figure ACV deals, and the ability to multi-thread and build trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders. You have exceptional verbal and written communication, an analytical mindset for spotting market trends and making data-driven decisions, and ideally familiarity with the AI landscape and emerging trends.
