As an Enterprise Sales Account Executive covering Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina, you will drive new business acquisition and revenue growth in your assigned territory. Your responsibilities include sourcing and closing new enterprise customers, managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting through deal closure, maintaining accurate pipeline forecasting, and consistently exceeding quarterly quotas. You will conduct product demonstrations, develop proposals, and serve as a trusted advisor to customers and channel partners. The role requires close collaboration with the Customer Success team to ensure smooth customer onboarding and gather market feedback for the product and engineering teams.
You bring 5-10+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a proven track record of quota attainment, specifically selling to state agencies and government entities. You have deep familiarity with government procurement processes, RFI/RFP response procedures, and relevant security standards and regulations. You demonstrate a strong ability to develop greenfield territories and add net new logos in complex enterprise environments. Your sales DNA includes a hunter mentality, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build credibility as a subject matter expert. A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
