Notion is seeking an Enterprise Outcomes Architect for its Tokyo office to drive customer adoption, value realization, and renewal outcomes in the Japanese market. This role sits at the intersection of customer success and sales, focusing on helping enterprise customers turn AI ambition into working systems within Notion's collaborative workspace.
You will own a book of named accounts with emphasis on flat, at-risk, or customers needing stronger paths to measurable impact. Key responsibilities include driving workflow adoption and value realization, contributing directly to net revenue retention through predictable renewals and expansion pipeline, and partnering with Solutions Consultants on account strategy and expansion qualification. You'll define and maintain mutual success plans that guide customers through AI transformation, facilitate use-case consultations to identify new workflow opportunities, and help customers demonstrate ROI to executive stakeholders through periodic business reviews.
The role requires identifying opportunities to engage professional services for complex implementations and partnering closely with the Services team to ensure successful outcomes. You'll develop deep product knowledge of Notion and the broader AI ecosystem to help customers navigate new ways of working and build durable systems. Additionally, you'll contribute to building and delivering Outcomes Architect programs that generate customer and business outcomes across Notion's install base.
Required qualifications include 7+ years driving customer adoption, value realization, renewals, or expansion in B2B software environments. You need strong customer-facing discovery instincts, technical fluency to co-design and configure Notion workspaces, and commercial awareness to partner on renewal risk and expansion potential. Program and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to design workflows that drive usage-based consumption and connect adoption patterns to measurable outcomes. You must operate with agency, urgency, and customer empathy, bringing structure to ambiguous problems. Native-level Japanese and business-level English are required.
Nice-to-have experience includes customer success, solutions consulting, implementation, or technical account management roles in productivity or collaboration software; experience with flat or at-risk renewal accounts; shared account ownership models; and designing repeatable customer programs and playbooks that improve retention and adoption at scale.
