CodeRabbit is building AI-driven code review systems that combine language models with human expertise to enhance software development efficiency. The Enterprise Field Engineer will serve as a technical advisor during the pre-sales cycle, partnering with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to help customers understand and adopt CodeRabbit's platform.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with Account Executives to understand customer requirements and design customized technical solutions; translating business objectives into technical requirements; delivering compelling product demonstrations and Proof of Value engagements; responding to security questionnaires; providing cross-functional feedback to product and engineering teams; staying current with AI-powered development tools and industry trends; documenting playbooks and best practices; and supporting the transition from pre-sales to post-sales customer onboarding.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience, with at least 2 years in a dynamic startup environment. Required skills include strong software development platform knowledge, command-line proficiency, cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and excellent communication abilities. The role requires managing multiple customer needs simultaneously while working with diverse stakeholders from technical teams to business leaders. Bonus qualifications include experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and other CI/CD tools.
