Datadog is seeking an Enterprise Customer Success Manager to lead customer success initiatives for the company's largest and most strategically important accounts in Japan. In this role, you will own the customer journey from onboarding through mature product adoption, ensuring positive customer experiences and driving product health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with Sales and Technical Solutions teams to drive product adoption from onboarding through maturity phases
- Design, execute, and project-manage the onboarding process for new enterprise customers
- Develop and actively manage customer success plans aligned with business objectives
- Maintain ongoing alignment with customer decision-makers on Datadog's investment value and ROI
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and influencers within customer organizations
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across Sales, Support, Enablement, Product, Finance, and Legal
- Monitor and analyze usage data to identify expansion opportunities and mitigate risks early
- Serve as the final accountability owner for customer product adoption and health metrics
You bring 3+ years of B2B SaaS customer success or account management experience, with demonstrated success managing enterprise customer portfolios. You excel at discovery-driven conversations, translating complex technical concepts into business value, and adapting your communication style to different audiences. You thrive in fast-paced environments, continuously develop your skills, and actively contribute to team best practices. You're comfortable with customer travel and site visits as needed. Fluency in both Japanese and English (business level or higher, written and verbal) is required for internal and external communications.
