Datadog is seeking an Enterprise Customer Success Manager based in Tokyo to drive healthy adoption and positive outcomes for some of the company's largest and most strategic customers. In this hybrid role, you will own the complete customer lifecycle from onboarding through maturity, partnering closely with Sales, Technical Solutions, and cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include: managing the onboarding process for new enterprise customers; developing and owning customer success plans aligned with their business objectives; proactively building relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders; monitoring usage trends to identify renewal opportunities and at-risk accounts; and ensuring consistent alignment on the ROI of their Datadog investment. You will act as the primary owner of customer adoption and health, leveraging your understanding of observability and security platforms to align technical and business needs with Datadog's offerings. You will collaborate extensively across Sales, Support, Enablement, Product, Finance, and Legal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. The role requires travel for customer onsite visits and events as needed. You bring 3+ years of Customer Success or Account Management experience in B2B SaaS, with demonstrated success managing large enterprise account portfolios. You excel at discovery conversations, translating complex technical concepts into business value, and adapting your communication style to different audiences. You thrive in fast-paced environments, continuously develop your skills, and contribute to team best practices. Fluency in both English and Japanese is essential for this Tokyo-based role, as you will interact with local and global stakeholders. Datadog offers best-in-breed onboarding, sales training (MEDDIC, Command of the Message), professional development, product training, career pathing, new hire equity (RSU), employee stock purchase plans, and a competitive benefits package. The company values inclusive culture and provides mentor/buddy programs for networking.
