As an Enterprise Business Development Representative, you will own a specific geographic territory and drive pipeline into strategic enterprise accounts. You will work within a structured pod model, partnering closely with Regional Directors and Account Directors to identify and engage high-value prospects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own enterprise territory coverage, balancing broad prospecting with focused outreach on strategic accounts
- Conduct bi-weekly alignment meetings with Account Directors on priority accounts and outbound strategy
- Prospect via phone, email, and LinkedIn with emphasis on quality pipeline over volume
- Engage Director and VP-level stakeholders in Maintenance, Operations, Reliability, and IT functions
- Expand buying group coverage and support multi-threaded discovery before opportunity creation
Success metrics: At 6 months, you'll have built a clean, well-sourced enterprise pipeline with strong Account Director alignment. At 12 months, top performers transition into closing roles (Account Executive or Account Manager).
Required qualifications: 1+ year of BDR experience (enterprise exposure preferred), ability to engage director-level stakeholders in complex accounts, strong judgment on account prioritization, collaborative mindset, demonstrated follow-through on pipeline ownership, and bachelor's degree.
Nice-to-have skills include Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, or Nooks experience, plus prior B2B or SaaS sales background.
Compensation includes competitive base salary with uncapped variable commission paid on both SQL attainment and closed-won revenue. Day-1 health, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited PTO, $500 home office stipend, and $1K annual L&D budget. In-person role in Raleigh, 5 days/week, with structured onboarding including New Hire University and dedicated mentorship.
