As an Enterprise Business Development Representative, you will generate sales pipeline and initiate the sales process for Checkr's Enterprise team. Your primary focus is building a foundation of outbound business pipeline that converts to closed-won deals. BDRs at Checkr contribute millions of dollars in new business pipeline annually.
Day-to-day responsibilities include: generating new business pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting; creating interest via multi-channel personalized outreach (cold calling, LinkedIn, email) to net new logos in your assigned territory; partnering closely with Account Executives to identify and source pipeline using a multithreaded approach; and conducting thorough research to develop effective outreach strategies targeting the right contacts at the right time.
You will generate qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, work with your manager and AEs to create account penetration plans, manage your book of business while balancing inbound leads, demonstrate knowledge of Checkr solutions, maintain CRM data quality, partner with 2-3 Account Executives, multitask across a large account list, and perform market research to identify and add prospects to the CRM.
Basic qualifications include 6-9 months minimum experience in an outbound sales development role (enterprise space preferred), Salesforce experience, ability to learn quickly, collaborative team mentality, self-motivation, strong communication skills, and comfort in fast-paced environments. Preferred qualifications include track record in SaaS enterprise pipeline development, experience with sales tools like Outreach or Sales Navigator, successful outbound email messaging, consistent quota attainment, and an A-player mindset with bias for action.
