Coder is seeking an Enterprise Account Manager to drive growth across its customer base of large enterprises executing AI-centric software development at scale. The role focuses on building trusted relationships with Fortune 500 companies, managing the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through contract closure, and ensuring customers understand the value of Coder's AI development infrastructure platform.
Day-to-day responsibilities include building and closing a strong pipeline of enterprise accounts with large engineering organizations, generating qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound leads, leading compelling product demos that differentiate Coder's value proposition, and collaborating with Sales Engineers to deliver thorough technical evaluations. You will partner with decision-makers and technical stakeholders throughout complex sales cycles, working side-by-side with internal engineers and buyers to remove friction and accelerate deal progression. Travel up to 15% is required to support customer relationships and close deals.
Required qualifications include 5+ years in software sales with strong prospecting experience, ideally in Developer, Agent, DevSecOps, or CNCF technologies. Candidates must have 3+ years selling into Fortune 500 companies and demonstrated experience engaging with software engineering leaders and technical decision-makers. Deep understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, platform engineering, and developer tools is essential. Experience with GenAI and agentic development tools (Cursor, Claude, Windsurf, Goose, Copilot) is required. You should be comfortable with outbound sales motions, have a track record of exceeding quota and pipeline goals, and possess strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Familiarity with different sales cycles (startup, midsize, enterprise) and the ability to be creative, analytical, and highly self-motivated are critical.
Bonus qualifications include a technical background or meaningful open source software experience, and curiosity about emerging AI workflows and developer tools.
