Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products to enterprise customers including Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. As an Enterprise Account Manager based in Milan, you will own relationships with innovative international merchants across multiple industries and channels, driving growth and expansion opportunities.
Your primary responsibilities include building and maintaining strong customer relationships by earning trust and delivering impactful payments insights. You will act as a strategic consultant, positioning Adyen as a trusted partner while using data to tell compelling stories about payment solutions. You'll drive commercial discussions with customers, meeting strategic and financial targets for assigned accounts, and identify expansion opportunities and value-adding products.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop strong customer relationships and navigate client organizations to align stakeholders
- Lead strategic payments conversations and present business reviews
- Coordinate high-level technical discussions between customer and internal teams
- Synthesize complex data sets to assess client goals and drive mutual success
- Manage multiple projects across different departments with varying timelines
- Serve as the internal voice and champion for your customers, providing feedback loops
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed
You bring 4+ years of experience in account management, enterprise sales, or complex software/financial services, with payments background strongly preferred. You are a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and analytical abilities. You excel at relationship building across all management levels, have full professional proficiency in Italian and English, and thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. Prior fintech or payments company experience is highly preferred.
