As an Enterprise Account Executive reporting to the VP of Sales, you will own a territory in the US Northeast and drive revenue through a combination of inbound and outbound leads. You will manage a high-velocity SaaS sales funnel, forecast and exceed quota, and track opportunities through CRM and supporting tools. You will collaborate with product, support, and sales engineering teams to improve the sales cycle, work with the partner ecosystem, and communicate Sysdig's key value drivers and differentiators to prospects and customers. You will also stay competitive by understanding the market landscape and competing offerings.
Key responsibilities include managing multiple pipeline sources (LDR, SDR, ISR, Channels), cross-collaborating with Marketing and Customer Success, bringing C-level network relationships to the table, and conducting C-level conversations. You may be required to travel to client sites to support sales relationships.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of IT Enterprise Sales experience with strong focus on security-related deals (SaaS security, cloud security, Kubernetes/containers, open source, APM)
- Track record of overachieving sales targets
- SaaS sales experience
- Track record of hunting new business opportunities in greenfield territories
- MEDDPICC and Challenger sales methodology experience
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Clari
- Ability to learn new products and processes quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong team player
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and "get it done" attitude
- Ability to work with multiple pipeline sources and cross-collaborate across business units
- Ability to bring C-level network and conduct C-level conversations
- Willingness to travel to clients as required
