Datadog is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive focused on the UK and Ireland public sector market. This role targets and closes new business with Datadog's largest, most strategic customers and prospects in the government and public sector space.
You will prospect into large Fortune 1000 public sector organizations while running an efficient sales process. Key responsibilities include maintaining and owning specific relationship maps for your territory, developing deep comprehension of customer business needs, and negotiating favorable pricing and business terms by selling value and ROI. You'll handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into your assigned territory, identify robust business drivers behind opportunities, and ensure high forecasting accuracy.
The role requires regular travel to client sites within the UK/Ireland region and other areas as needed, using various modes of transportation (car, train, air).
You bring 3+ years of closing experience with a mix of field selling in mid-market or enterprise environments. You've met or exceeded direct sales goals of £1M+ and operated with average deal sizes of £100k+. You demonstrate a proven methodology to prospect and build pipeline independently, have experience working for innovative tech companies (SaaS, IT infrastructure preferred), and have successfully sold into large Fortune 1000 companies to win new logos.
