GitGuardian is a global cybersecurity scale-up backed by top-tier VCs and early investors including GitHub co-founder Scott Chacon and Docker co-founder Solomon Hykes. The company raised Series C funding in early 2026 and is headquartered in Paris, NYC, and Boston. GitGuardian's platform helps enterprises find, prioritize, and remediate exposed secrets across code, systems, and AI infrastructure. The platform is used by 600K+ developers worldwide and 50 Fortune 500 companies, and is the #1 downloaded app on the GitHub marketplace.
You will join the US Sales team as an Enterprise Account Executive covering the Texas/TOLA region (Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas), reporting to the Area Vice President of Sales. Your mission is to drive GitGuardian's presence across enterprise accounts in your territory by running full sales cycles from prospecting through close.
Key responsibilities include: identifying and engaging enterprise prospects through outbound hunting, channel relationships, and events; owning end-to-end sales cycles with multiple stakeholders (CISOs, CTOs, AppSec leads, Engineering/DevOps teams); scoping and running complex POCs/POVs with Sales Engineers; building proposals and managing multi-stakeholder negotiations; maintaining disciplined pipeline management and forecasting; and evangelizing GitGuardian's product capabilities including secrets detection and governance.
You should have at least 5 years of enterprise software or security sales experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder cycles. Demonstrated success selling into DevOps, AppSec, or Security/Engineering leadership is essential. You're comfortable in technical conversations, skilled at generating pipeline independently, and experienced with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC sales frameworks. Strong communication skills with executive audiences and willingness to travel up to 25% are required. Prior Sales Engineer experience or hands-on familiarity with code repositories/CI/CD platforms is a plus.
The interview process includes: initial video call with Talent Acquisition, team interview with your future manager, a take-home business case, and a final interview with CEO Eric Fourrier to discuss company vision.
