Dataiku is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive with deep Financial Services Industry (FSI) expertise to drive sales in Japan. The role focuses on engaging banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and capital markets firms to help them leverage Dataiku's AI orchestration platform (DSS) for their data and AI initiatives. You will own the full enterprise sales cycle, educating FSI customers on Dataiku's value in addressing their regulatory, risk, and data challenges. Key responsibilities include proactive outreach to existing and prospective financial services customers, providing tailored recommendations for use cases such as fraud detection, risk modeling, regulatory reporting, and customer analytics, and managing multiple accounts simultaneously at various stages of the buying cycle. You will develop C-level vision alignment with FSI executives across Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Operations functions, navigate complex enterprise sales cycles typical in highly regulated institutions, and handle inbound customer communication including security, compliance, legal, and technical inquiries. You'll serve as the voice of the FSI customer, feeding insights back to Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement. Success requires 5–7 years of enterprise software field sales experience with a strong track record in Financial Services (banking, insurance, capital markets, or asset management). You need deep understanding of the Japanese FSI landscape—key players, buying behaviors, and regulatory environment (FSA, Basel, DORA awareness a plus). Background in selling data, AI, analytics, or related innovation concepts to large financial institutions is essential. You should excel at developing vision alignment with FSI prospects, building champions across business and technology stakeholders, and articulating competitive positioning.
