As an Enterprise Account Executive focused on expansion, you will own and manage a portfolio of approximately 50 high-value customers, driving retention and revenue growth as they scale from early adoption. You'll build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across complex organizations, developing deep understanding of each customer's business objectives and use cases to identify cross-sell opportunities across new teams, business units, and use cases.
You will work collaboratively with Customer Success Managers and Customer Solutions Engineers to develop account planning and execution strategies that align Algolia's solutions to customer goals, ensuring customers extract maximum value from the platform. You'll lead cross-sell strategy and commercial conversations with top accounts, expanding Algolia's presence across the organization while monitoring account health and usage to identify risks and mobilize the account team on next best actions.
The role requires operating independently in a fast-evolving environment, helping shape sales motions and turn them into repeatable, scalable playbooks. You should be comfortable researching prospects, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and navigating global organizations with multi-brand portfolios.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales or account management with experience managing renewals and expansion in accounts with multiple stakeholders. You should have a track record negotiating complex, multi-year enterprise agreements directly with customers and internal stakeholders (legal, finance, deal desk), strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, and comfort managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships within large organizations with strategic patience for longer sales cycles.
Nice-to-have experience includes SaaS, APIs, or developer-focused products; familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based business models; and background with eCommerce or digital experience platforms.
