Overstory is an AI-driven climate tech company using satellite imagery and advanced analytics to help electric utilities identify and mitigate vegetation risks to power infrastructure. This role is a full-cycle Enterprise Account Executive position focused on the Canadian utility market.
You will own the complete sales process for Canadian Power and Utility accounts, from prospecting through closing. The company already has relationships with some of Canada's largest utilities, and you'll be responsible for deepening those partnerships and opening new ones. Your responsibilities include:
- Full-cycle sales: prospecting, qualifying, managing relationships, and closing deals with Canadian utilities
- Consultative selling to senior leadership and multiple stakeholders at target accounts
- Closing seven-figure agreements that drive value for both Overstory and clients
- Regular travel across Canada to meet prospects in person and attend industry events and trade shows
- Product demonstrations and business case development for qualified leads
- Maintaining accurate CRM hygiene and sales process discipline
- Collaborating with sales leadership, marketing, solutions, and delivery teams
You bring 10+ years of enterprise software/SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record closing complex multi-stakeholder deals. Startup experience (VC-backed, Series A/B) is required. You're comfortable with long sales cycles and have navigated highly regulated industries. Experience selling to utilities is a significant plus. You're willing to travel regularly, communicate exceptionally well, and thrive in structured sales processes. Nice-to-haves include familiarity with vegetation management, energy infrastructure, GIS data, or climate workflows, plus a strong network in the utility/energy sector.
