Miter is a fast-growing vertical SaaS company on a mission to modernize construction operations. Founded in 2021, the company has grown to thousands of customers and tens of millions in ARR by providing AI-powered HR, finance, and operations software to construction contractors—replacing decades-old legacy systems. Backed by top-tier investors (Bessemer, Coatue, Battery), Miter is one of the fastest-growing vertical software companies.
As Miter's first Enterprise Account Executive, you will build the enterprise sales motion from the ground up. This is a full-cycle, quota-carrying role where you own a named list of enterprise accounts—large multi-state general contractors, specialty subcontractors, and vertically integrated firms. You will act as a consultative partner, guiding these organizations through complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes involving CFOs, COOs, VPs of Field Operations, IT, payroll, procurement, and legal teams.
Key responsibilities include: owning net-new logo acquisition from first outreach through signed contract; running complex, multi-threaded sales cycles with 5+ stakeholders; partnering with Solutions Engineering, Launch, and Customer Success to scope multi-entity deployments; leading commercial negotiations on pricing, MSAs, and security/procurement requirements; building quantified ROI cases tied to prospect cost structures; maintaining disciplined pipeline hygiene in Salesforce; and representing Miter at industry events and trade shows.
You will have a direct seat at the table with GTM leadership as the enterprise playbook is being defined. There is no existing playbook—you will help write it in an industry that has run on the same outdated software for forty years and is finally ready for transformation. Your work will directly impact how the largest contractors in the country manage teams, projects, and financials.
Required qualifications: 6+ years of quota-carrying, full-cycle SaaS sales experience with 2+ years selling to enterprise accounts and a track record of exceeding enterprise-grade quotas. Demonstrated ability to run complex, multi-threaded sales cycles with procurement, security review, and legal negotiation. Fluency with structured enterprise sales methodology and Salesforce. Executive presence and ability to build trust with C-suite and VP-level buyers. Sharp discovery instincts and cross-functional orchestration skills.
Nice-to-have: experience in construction, field services, or underserved verticals; existing network among general contractors or construction ERP/VAR ecosystem; or experience building early enterprise motions at high-growth startups.
