Gradient Labs is building an AI customer operations platform purpose-built for financial services. Founded in 2023, the company works with major banks and fintech firms, deploying specialist AI agents to automate customer support and back-office operations. The team includes builders from Google, Braze, Klaviyo, and Zendesk.
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle for complex, high-ACV deals in the financial services sector. This is an early-stage sales role where you'll help define the go-to-market motion rather than execute an established playbook.
Key responsibilities include: generating your own pipeline through cold outbound, industry events, and creative engagement; running consultative discovery and solution design across complex organizations; building relationships with C-suite and senior operations/product leaders; partnering closely with the AI Delivery team to ensure customer success; and serving as a product evangelist, delivering demos and insights that inform product strategy.
You'll work hand-in-hand with the Head of GTM to build qualification criteria, account strategy, and sales processes from scratch. The role requires comfort with ambiguity, a genuine hustle instinct, and the ability to hold technical conversations with CTOs about AI agents and regulated financial operations.
Required experience: 5–7+ years in enterprise B2B SaaS sales, including complex six- and seven-figure ACV deals. Preferred: background selling AI products, fintech, or into financial services. You should be entrepreneurial, self-directed, skilled at building C-suite relationships, and excited about leveraging AI in your own sales motion.
Compensation includes base salary, 50% variable compensation, and meaningful equity. Benefits: private medical & dental insurance, 25 days PTO, team socials/offsites, flexible working with hybrid arrangement (one day per week in NYC office).
