Datacor is a leading provider of enterprise software solutions—including ERP, CRM, asset tracking, simulation, and formulation tools—serving the process manufacturing industry. TrackAbout, Datacor's cloud-based asset tracking and cylinder management platform, helps industrial gas, chemical, medical, and food & beverage companies gain real-time visibility into returnable containers across global supply chains. This is a quota-carrying, individual-contributor Enterprise Account Executive role managing a global territory of enterprise opportunities. You will own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through close and post-sale handoff. The role is ideal for a hunter comfortable building pipeline from scratch, traveling up to 40% internationally, navigating long multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles, and closing complex global deals. While partner sourcing may play a secondary role, the primary focus is direct new-logo and expansion sales. Key Responsibilities: Prospecting & Pipeline Generation: Build and manage a robust pipeline of enterprise opportunities through self-sourced prospecting, outbound campaigns, referrals, and inbound leads. Research and target accounts within gas, welding, and industrial supply (GWIS), liquid propane gas (LPG), process manufacturing, and other asset-intensive industries. Develop and execute account-based territory plans covering named accounts across a global footprint. Full-Cycle Sales Execution: Own each opportunity end-to-end—discovery, qualification, solution positioning, ROI/business case development, proposal, negotiation, and close. Run structured discovery to uncover asset tracking, compliance, and operational efficiency challenges, and map TrackAbout's value to customer priorities. Build and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations in partnership with Solutions Engineering, tailored to enterprise buying committees. Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving procurement, IT, operations, and executive sponsors across multiple countries and legal entities. Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and legal considerations to close new business and expansion deals. Partner & Channel Collaboration: Prioritize direct sales as the primary revenue path. Identify and pursue co-sell or sourcing opportunities through TrackAbout's partner and reseller network where appropriate. Collaborate with the Global VP of Sales and regional partner leads to align on account coverage and avoid channel conflict. Post-Sale & Account Growth: Ensure clean, well-documented handoff to Implementation and Customer Success following contract signature. Stay engaged post-sale to support strong onboarding, identify expansion opportunities, and protect long-term account health. Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline and forecast data in Salesforce, and participate in regular pipeline and forecast reviews. Requirements: - 5+ years of experience as a quota-carrying Account Executive selling enterprise software, with a demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota - Proven experience managing the full sales cycle, from self-sourced prospecting through close and post-sale transition - Experience selling into complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise organizations, including navigating procurement and legal processes - Demonstrated success selling and negotiating across international markets and cross-border deals - Strong discovery, business-case, and consultative selling skills; comfortable engaging both operational and executive-level buyers - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with polish required for C-level engagement - Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce preferred) - 4-year college degree preferred (business, engineering, or related field), or equivalent professional experience Preferred Qualifications: - Experience selling enterprise software into GWIS, LPG, or process manufacturing, with existing relationships or network within those industries - Track record closing large six- to low-seven-figure enterprise deals with multinational enterprises - Experience selling inventory tracking, asset management, or IoT/asset visibility software - Experience working deals supported by channel/reseller partners
