Checkr is a data platform powering safe and fair decisions through AI verification. The company serves over 140,000 organizations including Uber, Airbnb, DoorDash, and Anthropic. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will own new business growth within Checkr's Enterprise segment (companies with 5,000+ employees), managing a book of 200–300 accounts with significant self-sourced outbound pipeline. You will run full-cycle, high-complexity sales cycles from initial prospecting through post-sale activation. This includes building pipeline through your own outbound motion in partnership with BDRs, multi-threading across buying committees, and orchestrating deals from first contact to close. You'll quantify prospect pain in financial terms, building ROI models in real time and anchoring closes on business outcomes rather than features. Deal sizes range from $50K to $1M annually. Key responsibilities include owning post-sale activation planning—documenting ramp milestones and consumption targets before close to set the Customer Success team up for execution. You'll quarterback internal resources (Product, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Support, Executives) and develop internal champions when needed. The role requires operational use of AI tools for account research, pipeline management, and prospecting to scale your own output. You bring 7+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling to HR buyers. You have a proven track record closing new Enterprise accounts with complex organizational structures and multi-year quota attainment. You demonstrate a real self-sourced outbound motion, experience selling to C-suite executives and end-users simultaneously, and the ability to quantify business value and build ROI cases. You're resourceful, hands-on with AI tools, and have owned post-sale handoffs and ramp planning, ideally in consumptive or volume-based pricing models. You communicate clearly in writing and verbally, simplify complex topics, and operate with an A-player mindset: raising the bar, moving with urgency, staying resilient through ambiguity, and taking ownership of outcomes. Travel to meet prospects and customers is required.
