ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space, operating the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. This role is part of the Global Supply Chain organization supporting fast-paced hardware engineering teams designing and building electronic systems for satellite and aerospace applications. As Engineering Supply Chain Manager (Electronics), you will serve as the hands-on supply chain counterpart for multiple, rapidly evolving hardware projects. You'll join engineering project teams from kick-off, helping execute project plans and reviewing BOMs while designs can still be changed. Your core mission is identifying long lead items and critical components as early as possible in the design cycle, then securing them proactively through early orders, allocation, and buffer stock before they become bottlenecks for testing and builds. You'll translate early-stage concepts, evolving BOMs, and mid-design changes into actionable sourcing steps with minimal delay. In real time during design reviews, you'll advise engineers on how component choices affect availability, alternates, obsolescence, cost, and lead time. You'll identify supply issues before they become blockers and propose workaround paths immediately. You own sourcing and procurement of electronic components, PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, connectors, harness, sensors, RF parts, and embedded modules. You'll run fast quoting and supplier selection to ensure prototype and builds receive boards and parts on committed dates. When shortages occur, you'll lead efforts to find alternative components or new supply paths within hours, not weeks. You'll set stock levels and material availability plans for development and prototype builds. You'll own relationships with PCB fabricators, electronics manufacturing partners, and component distributors, understanding their lead time constraints, manufacturing capabilities, DFM implications, and fast-track build options. You'll support technical capability assessments of vendors and negotiate priority build slots, allocation, and expedited shipments to secure prototypes under compressed timelines. Cross-functionally, you'll coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, program management, and operations to remove obstacles and maintain build readiness. You'll maintain complete visibility into prototype schedules, engineering changes, and material risks, communicating clearly and frequently. You operate with a bias for action: if something is unclear, you chase it; if something breaks, you fix it; if something is missing, you find it. You'll build and maintain a living view of supply risks across all active projects, including obsolescence, allocation, single-source parts, counterfeit risk, and export restrictions, qualifying alternatives early. You'll keep purchasing accurate in the ERP system with clean traceability, cost visibility, and build readiness status. You'll bring an experimentation mindset, testing new suppliers, sourcing channels, manufacturing partners, and tools to reduce lead times and cost. Finally, you'll communicate R&D supply chain risks and identified critical components to Production early and clearly, ensuring they are known well before handover. You'll support the success and rapid iteration of engineering prototypes while preparing Production for rollout and mass production, helping build the sourcing foundations that carry a design from prototype into repeatable production. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Supply Chain, or similar - 5+ years of direct experience in electronics sourcing, component procurement, or engineering supply chain roles in fast-moving hardware environments - Strong technical understanding of semiconductors, passive components, PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, embedded electronics, and prototyping flows - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in startup-like conditions: tight deadlines, shifting priorities, incomplete information, and rapid cycles - Hands-on experience interpreting electronic schematics, BOMs, AVL requirements, PCB stackups, and manufacturing documentation - Hands-on experience running purchasing and material management through an ERP system - Confident negotiator, commercially and technically, able to influence engineers, program managers, and suppliers without formal authority - Professional English, written and spoken NICE TO HAVES: - Engineering electronics background and knowledge of design tools - Experience in space, aerospace, defense, hardware startups, or other deep-tech R&D environments - Exposure to taking a hardware design from prototype into series production - Existing relationships with PCB/PCBA vendors, distributors, and electronics manufacturing partners - Certifications (APICS, PMP, Six Sigma) - Familiarity with rapid-prototyping suppliers, global component marketplaces, and digital sourcing tools
