PeopleGrove is seeking an Engagement Manager to serve as the day-to-day partner for a portfolio of higher education institutions. In this role, you will work directly with campus administrators to execute account strategy, drive platform adoption, and ensure clients realize maximum value from their investment.
Key responsibilities include building and implementing scalable engagement strategies that foster user adoption across your client portfolio. You'll host regular office hours and coaching sessions, provide usage-based recommendations, and monitor product adoption metrics to identify expansion opportunities. You'll conduct one-on-one reviews with key accounts to track progress toward goals and develop get-well plans for at-risk accounts.
You'll develop deep expertise in PeopleGrove's platform capabilities and translate those features into tactical recommendations aligned with each client's institutional priorities. This includes educating administrators on relevant functionality and serving as a trusted advisor on platform strategy and technical implementation.
Relationship building is central to the role. You'll cultivate trusted partnerships with day-to-day client administrators, understand their goals deeply, and connect platform usage back to institutional priorities. You'll also track adoption and engagement metrics across your portfolio, identify referenceable clients for case studies and testimonials, and use usage data to flag risk early.
Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you'll represent the voice of client administrators internally, sharing feedback with support and leadership teams, partnering with Client Strategists on annual account strategy, and participating in customer education initiatives like webinars and workshops.
The role requires approximately 15% travel. You'll need 3+ years of experience in higher education, nonprofit, or SaaS customer success, with familiarity with PeopleGrove's platform as a plus. Strong communication skills, organizational ability to manage competing deadlines, and proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, ChurnZero, or similar) are required. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is expected.
