Monk is an AI-native accounts receivable platform for B2B companies, helping businesses collect payments faster. The company is rebuilding the broken AR stack with AI and modern software, currently managing over $1B in accounts receivable.
As Engagement Manager, you will own the end-to-end customer relationship and outcomes for assigned accounts. You become the primary point of contact for CFOs and controllers from initial kickoff through go-live, adoption, renewal, and expansion. You will manage account health, drive net revenue retention, run renewals and upsells independently, and own all customer escalations and requests.
Key responsibilities include: running weekly customer syncs and monthly KPI reviews; building executive relationships with finance leaders; analyzing usage and collection data to identify opportunities; translating customer needs into engineering requests; and creating playbooks and processes that scale across accounts. You will partner directly with engineering and operations, pulling data, reading agent logs, and solving customer problems hands-on when needed.
This is a builder role at a Series A company where you own accounts like a founder owns a company. You will be the expert on customer configurations, progress, and system activities, serving as the internal voice of the customer to shape product roadmap decisions.
Required: 3+ years at a top-tier management consultancy, investment bank, or comparable high-ownership role (post-sales, account management, or customer success at fast-growing B2B software). You need exceptional attention to detail, executive presence, strong analytical instincts, and commercial mindset with comfort owning revenue targets. Familiarity with ERPs or B2B finance workflows is a plus. You should be comfortable with software and data—reading logs, pulling data, configuring settings—without needing to be an engineer.
