The Enablement Program Specialist owns the certification and onboarding programs for all go-to-market hires (Sales, Account Management, Implementation, Professional Services, and Support teams). This is a strategic role that shapes how new hires become productive across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, maintain, and measure two core certifications: one for product knowledge and one for accounting industry knowledge. You will decide what new hires must know, build assessments, and keep content current as the product evolves.
- Work with go-to-market team leaders to define role-specific new hire ramp training, including scope, sequencing, and readiness confirmation.
- Run certification programs end-to-end: scope, build, launch, deliver, measure, and revise.
- Build online courses and assessments for self-paced and live delivery.
- Design and facilitate in-person training sessions using a flipped classroom model, where foundational content is completed beforehand so live time focuses on practice, discussion, and feedback.
- Partner with Product and subject matter experts to keep certification content accurate as features launch.
- Track completion rates, assessment results, and time to productivity; use data to continuously improve programs.
- Manage timelines and dependencies across multiple programs and stakeholders.
Success Metrics:
- Every go-to-market hire completes both certifications within the agreed ramp window.
- Certification content is updated when the product changes, with no release going unreflected.
- Each go-to-market team has a documented ramp plan agreed to by its leader.
- New hire time to productivity improves against a baseline set in the first quarter.
Requirements:
- Strong experience applying adult learning theory to program and course design, with ability to explain your choices and reasoning.
- Demonstrated experience building courses, including content, activities, and assessments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering in-person, live training.
- Understanding of the flipped classroom model, with evidence of designing or running training that uses it.
- Time on task within an enablement team, supporting either a sales organization or a customer experience organization.
- Strong project and program management skills, and ability to work with leaders across several teams.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with a learning management system.
- Experience with SaaS products, ideally with accounting or professional services firms.
- Experience measuring training outcomes beyond completion rates.
