Ramp is a fintech infrastructure platform automating how over $200B in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ companies. This Employee Lifecycle Associate role owns the employee experience and communications across the entire employee lifecycle—onboarding, benefits, leaves of absence, role changes, relocations, and offboarding.
You will design and execute clear communication strategies, anticipate and resolve employee questions, and build scalable resources that help employees navigate change confidently. The role splits between two primary areas:
**Employee Lifecycle Experience & Communications (70%):** Own employee-facing communications and documentation across all lifecycle stages. Partner with Lifecycle Analysts and the Lifecycle Manager to deliver coordinated, scalable experiences. Develop and maintain employee communications, FAQs, knowledge base content, and AI-powered Help Desk guidance to enable self-service. Create and improve manager and employee resources—onboarding guides, leave toolkits, offboarding guidance—in partnership with HR Business Partners. Build scalable SOPs and operational resources that keep processes consistent and easy to navigate. Use employee feedback, support trends, and operational data to identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve experience. Collaborate cross-functionally with Recruiters, Managers, People Success Partners, Compensation, Finance, IT, and external vendors.
**Benefits & Leaves Operations (30%):** Partner with the Benefits Lead on day-to-day operations of benefits and leave programs. Support benefits operations across key lifecycle events including new hires, life events, leaves of absence, relocations, and offboarding. Support leave operations including intake, tracking, communications, and return-to-work processes. Audit and reconcile benefits data, investigate discrepancies, and partner with Payroll, Finance, and vendors to ensure accurate, compliant operations. Serve as cross-trained backup for benefits and leave operations.
You'll need 3-5+ years of People Operations, HR Operations, benefits, payroll, HRIS, or compensation operations experience. Strong communication skills with employees on sensitive topics, demonstrated ability to independently own and improve recurring operational processes, solid data-management capabilities including auditing and reconciliation, cross-functional partnership experience, strong spreadsheet skills, and confidence learning HRIS and connected systems. Excellent judgment, prioritization, and attention to detail in a high-volume, high-trust environment are essential.
