Salary: USD 112,000 - 149,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, and sensor fusion, seeks an experienced Technical Recruiter to join the Emerging Talent Recruiting team. Based in Costa Mesa, CA, you will operate as a subject matter expert supporting Hardware and Software teams, with significant autonomy to shape long-term talent strategy and execute high-impact recruiting initiatives.
You will serve as a trusted talent advisor for complex hiring across emerging talent programs, developing and optimizing recruiting strategies through prospecting, automation, and continuous process improvement. Key responsibilities include collaborating with program managers, hiring managers, and senior leadership to define hiring needs and guide recruitment strategy; leveraging deep knowledge of university recruiting trends; executing university recruiting trips and campus events; and owning pipeline direction with metrics-based measurement including sourcing outreach, candidate data analysis, and offer/close rates.
The role demands demonstrated leadership in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a track record of influencing organizational best practices. You will manage hiring execution across multiple teams, effectively communicating objectives and priorities while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
Required: 5+ years in talent acquisition, preferably university recruiting and tech; demonstrated leadership in fast-paced environments; strong stakeholder alignment and cross-functional collaboration; ability to travel for university recruiting events. Preferred: startup/tech/hardware domain experience; independent work capability; solution-oriented problem-solving; deep recruitment technology knowledge; continuous learning mindset.
