As EMEA Lead for Sales Engineering, you will lead and grow DevRev's Sales Engineering organization across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. This is a hands-on leadership role combining team management with direct involvement in strategic enterprise deals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Hiring, coaching, and developing a distributed SE team across multiple EMEA markets, owning recruiting, onboarding, goal-setting, performance reviews, and career progression
- Managing team capacity and resource allocation across deals, markets, and time zones; representing SE in regional sales leadership and forecasting
- Owning SE strategy and execution for EMEA, partnering with sales leadership on pipeline growth and revenue targets
- Leading technical strategy on complex enterprise deals from discovery through demos, proofs of concept, and proposals
- Enabling partners, resellers, and sales teams through workshops, certifications, and competitive positioning
- Building reusable SE assets including playbooks, demos, and guides; partnering with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap
You bring 10+ years in Sales or Solutions Engineering, ideally in B2B SaaS with enterprise customers. You have proven experience directly managing distributed SE/technical pre-sales teams with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams. You have experience across multiple EMEA markets and are fluent in business English.
Technical requirements include hands-on experience with AI tools, models, and agentic use cases; GenAI/LLM workflows; working knowledge of CRM, ITSM, and CX platforms (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Zendesk); REST APIs and webhooks; cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); basic SQL; and familiarity with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript. Exposure to Jira, GitHub, and modern DevOps stacks is expected. Nice-to-haves include additional European languages and a CS/Engineering degree.
