BloomReach is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations across the EMEA region, overseeing 7 jurisdictions and 10 legal entities. You will manage a team of accountants and own compliance under both US GAAP and local statutory GAAPs, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all entities.
Key responsibilities include leading and developing your accounting team, driving statutory and external audits to completion, standardizing processes and controls across entities to replace fragmented local practices with scalable workflows, and championing AI and automation adoption within the accounting function. You will partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and HR teams to ensure smooth month-end close and reporting, and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, local advisors, and statutory authorities.
The ideal candidate has proven experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries and entities, strong working knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to multiple local statutory GAAPs, and a track record of successfully leading audits and managing external auditor relationships. You should have experience standardizing and improving processes in multi-entity or multi-country environments, genuine enthusiasm for AI, automation, and finance transformation, and strong people leadership skills. Excellent cross-cultural communication and comfort working across time zones are essential.
This is a full-time role based in one of BloomReach's Central European offices (Bratislava, Prague, or Brno), with a remote option available for candidates in Czechia or Slovakia.
