Salary: USD 129,000 - 169,000 / annual

Vuori, an athletic apparel brand blending performance and casual aesthetics, is seeking an experienced District Manager to lead retail operations across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Based in the region, you will oversee multiple Vuori store locations and serve as a key leader in the company's fast-growing retail expansion. You will be the ultimate brand ambassador, accountable for creating a highly productive environment where customers have memorable experiences, employees are motivated, and the business thrives. Your responsibilities span leadership, operations, sales, and community engagement. Leadership & People Management: Manage Vuori stores in your region through regular touch-bases, in-person visits, and development conversations. Oversee the hiring process for all store roles, working with General Managers to build diverse teams focused on customer connection and world-class service. Support General Managers in fostering a culture of performance feedback, coaching, and recognition. Stay current on HR compliance laws in your region and partner with the People team to resolve employee issues. Develop and audit onboarding and training materials, proactively creating new training as needed. Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a liaison between headquarters and retail stores, owning two-way feedback loops to improve business and employee experience. Create pipelines for bottom-up communication of ideas, customer insights, and best practices. Partner with the New Store Opening Manager to execute new store launches in your region. Sales & Operations: Own regional store performance by meeting and exceeding revenue targets. Develop short and long-term sales strategies in partnership with marketing. Ensure visual merchandising standards are upheld across all stores. Support General Managers with scheduling and payroll management; ensure proper staffing and resolve discrepancies with finance. Track and update regional P&L, identifying cost-saving and profit-driving opportunities. Maintain store standards including merchandising, cleanliness, inventory levels, and safety compliance. Community: Lead innovation in community engagement, reaching new markets and driving traffic in established ones. Build rapport with local communities and position the brand through community involvement, partnerships with local studios, gyms, teams, and athletes. Requirements: - 4+ years in multi-unit retail leadership - Obsessive approach to elevating customer experience and over-delivering - Owner mentality: proactively identify and fix problems, continuously improve the business - Availability reflecting business needs, including weekends, evenings, and holidays - Extensive experience with P&L, POS, and CRM systems - Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced, high-growth environments - Expertise in human resources (recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, performance management) - Ability to travel up to 50%
