VAST Data is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead and scale the Enterprise Accounts sales organization across Canada. This is a people leadership and business-building role responsible for building a high-performing team of Enterprise Account Executives focused on identifying, pursuing, and winning new business opportunities within strategic enterprise accounts.
You will own the regional growth strategy, developing repeatable go-to-market plays that uncover new opportunities and expand VAST's footprint within key customers. Key responsibilities include recruiting and coaching high-performing sales talent, building a culture centered on pipeline generation and disciplined execution, and managing complex enterprise sales cycles aligned with customer buying processes.
The role requires leading the extended account team including Sales Engineering, Channel, Alliances, and Customer Success. You will own forecasting, pipeline development, territory planning, and execution across the district, while generating sustainable revenue growth through new customer acquisition and strategic account expansion.
You will build executive relationships from initial engagement through proof of concept, production deployment, and long-term account expansion. This includes developing executive-level business proposals that demonstrate how VAST's AI Operating System enables customers to achieve their business and technology objectives.
Success is measured by the team's ability to consistently create, develop, and win new strategic opportunities while expanding VAST's footprint across enterprise organizations. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Alliances, and Executive Leadership to establish VAST as the platform of choice for AI infrastructure and enterprise data platforms.
