Via Transportation is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships to lead regional sales efforts across the Eastern US, covering New York, Miami, and Atlanta. This is a quota-carrying sales leadership role focused on building revenue-generating relationships with public and private sector clients in the mobility and public transportation space.
You will identify and cultivate partnerships with diverse stakeholders—from elected officials to private-sector executives—and own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and upsell. Your responsibilities include developing data-driven business cases for Via's platform, navigating complex public-sector buying landscapes, and serving as a thought partner to help clients develop regional transit plans and identify funding mechanisms.
As the regional face of Via, you'll lead local marketing initiatives, speak at industry conferences, and establish thought leadership in the mobility space. The role requires strong analytical and consultative selling skills, with an ability to educate clients and translate complex transportation challenges into compelling value propositions.
You bring 10+ years of client-facing sales, business development, or consulting experience, ideally with public-sector exposure. You're an intuitive communicator, skilled at prospecting and relationship-building with senior executives. You thrive in fast-paced environments, mentor team members, and view success as a collaborative effort. Travel of 25–50% is required.
Based in the New York area, you'll work hybrid from Via's New York office with weekly team lunches. The role offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) matching, paid parental leave, and 20 days of PTO annually.
