Zscaler is seeking a Director of Sales Engineering for the Data Security product line to lead and grow the sales engineering organization across the US, Canada, and LATAM. Reporting to the Sr Director of Data Security Specialist within Sales and Go-to-Market, you will build and mentor a high-performing sales engineering team while aligning closely with GTM Sales Leaders, Product Management, and Engineering to execute strategic solutions and close deals.
Key responsibilities include recruiting, mentoring, and developing the sales engineering team covering the Americas; refining and scaling core sales engineering processes including discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept; partnering with sales leadership and clients to design and present business solutions that drive revenue growth; and working within a matrixed environment to promote and support the Data Security Business line through value-based selling.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience); a proven track record in sales or systems engineering with experience managing and directing a sales engineering team through mentoring, coaching, and developing talent; demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance workflows and augment problem-solving; and technical expertise in data security, cloud infrastructure, or related domains.
