Figma is seeking a Director of Solutions Consulting to lead the AMER Solutions Consulting teams across Mid-Market, Enterprise, and Strategic customer segments. This role sits within the Sales organization and is responsible for defining and executing strategy around how the Solutions Consulting team partners with Sales, engages customers, influences new business, and scales impact across the region.
Key responsibilities include building and developing a talented team of Solutions Consultants and leaders through scalable, data-driven processes. You will partner closely with Sales leadership to achieve targets across aligned regions and ensure successful pre-sales outcomes. The role requires analyzing and managing team performance metrics including influenced ARR and activity metrics, while developing and scaling core Solutions Consulting processes such as discovery, technical qualification, and POCs/trials.
You will serve as a technical executive, aligning with customer executives and stakeholders to build relationships and advance open opportunities. The position includes recruiting, mentoring, and developing the AMER Solutions Consulting leadership team. You'll leverage customer feedback and outcomes to collaborate with Product and Engineering on product improvements, and participate in regional industry events as a thought leader.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in customer-facing technical sales roles within SaaS, with 6+ years of management experience including 2+ years managing managers (not individual contributors) within Solutions Consulting or Sales Engineering. You should have a proven track record of leading and growing high-performing teams across multiple time zones, demonstrated success partnering with regional Sales leadership on GTM strategy, strong cross-functional influence across Product and Customer Experience, and a solid understanding of the technical and competitive landscape.
This is a full-time role that can be held from one of Figma's US hubs (San Francisco or New York) or remotely within the United States.
