Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to own the go-to-market strategy for Veeam Intelligent ResOps, a flagship offering that integrates data resilience with security within the Veeam DataAI Command Platform. This is a strategic leadership role reporting to senior marketing leadership, responsible for positioning, messaging, product launches, campaign strategy, and sales enablement for a complex, technical enterprise software solution.
Key responsibilities include: setting positioning and messaging that connects data resilience, data security, and AI trust capabilities; owning launch strategy and execution across product, sales, and marketing teams; defining campaign strategy and core content for demand generation; creating sales enablement materials, plays, and training; establishing competitive narrative and battle cards in a crowded category; building analyst relationships to shape category definition; partnering with pricing and finance teams on packaging strategy; coordinating positioning across all routes to market (alliance, channel, VCSP); feeding market insights and win/loss analysis into product roadmap decisions; and tracking pipeline, win rate, and revenue metrics as a business owner.
You'll partner cross-functionally with product, sales, pricing, competitive intelligence, partner, and VCSP teams. This role requires someone who can set strategy, drive execution through influence, and engage confidently with product, sales, and executive leadership.
Required qualifications: 12+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in enterprise software, cybersecurity, or data resilience; proven track record setting go-to-market strategy for complex, technical products at scale; business-owner mindset with accountability for pipeline, win rate, and revenue impact; strong public speaking, written, and verbal communication skills including executive and board-level presentations; strong analytical skills to turn market and performance data into decisions; and proven leadership ability to influence peers and senior leaders.
Bonus experience includes marketing data security, data protection, or backup/recovery solutions; supporting go-to-market efforts following acquisitions or product integrations; public speaking or keynote experience at industry events; and direct familiarity with the data resilience and data security competitive landscape.
