First Due is seeking an experienced Director of Product Marketing to lead segmentation, positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, and commercial success of their public safety software platform. This role translates complex product capabilities into compelling customer value propositions, enabling Sales and Customer Success teams while driving market adoption across Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, Fire Prevention, Community Risk Reduction, and Emergency Management segments. As the voice of the market within the organization, you will partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure products are positioned effectively against competitors and resonate with public safety decision-makers. You will build, coach, and develop a high-performing product marketing team while establishing segmentation strategy for current and future market investments. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining differentiated product positioning and messaging that communicates customer value across public safety markets, partnering with executive leadership to refine the First Due narrative and competitive story, creating go-to-market strategies for new products and features, enabling sales with battle cards and competitive intelligence, and driving market adoption through strategic initiatives. You will also measure and report on product marketing effectiveness, collaborate on customer research and win/loss analysis, and support the broader marketing team with product-focused content and campaigns. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and has experience building out the product marketing function in B2B enterprise software environments. Experience with AI-driven solutions, public sector software, or mission-critical platforms is valued. You report to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be instrumental in First Due's continued growth and market leadership.
