Neara is building physics-enabled digital twins of electricity grids using advanced machine learning to help utilities stress-test infrastructure, identify risks, and optimize investments for grid resilience across four continents.
You will establish and operationalize a new PMO function for Neara's European business, a role that shapes critical operational infrastructure as the company scales globally. This is a greenfield opportunity to build an important part of the company's engine while influencing global operations strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project delivery for a portfolio of complex, high-value enterprise software engagements, from kickoff through go-live and handover
- Apply and reinforce project management best practices and standards across projects, setting implementation excellence benchmarks
- Maintain accurate project tracking and reporting (status, risks, milestones, value delivery) and roll up into team-level rituals and leadership dashboards
- Identify risks and blockers early, driving resolution by coordinating across Customer Success, Product, and Engineering
- Partner with VP of Customer Success to refine PMO tooling, templates, and reporting infrastructure as the function matures
- Support contract and scope reviews with Product and Engineering to ensure projects are resourced for success from the start
- Design and maintain Customer Success team onboarding and continuous learning systems
You will work at multiple altitudes—following defined methodologies while also unblocking ground-level execution. Your operational excellence directly translates to a more resilient global energy grid.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Professional Services, or PMO, with deep experience driving complex software implementations, delivery excellence, or PMO strategy
- Direct experience managing enterprise software projects or large-scale transformation programs, with clear understanding of what makes complex projects succeed or fail
- Track record of applying and improving project management standards and processes, not just operating within existing frameworks
- Strong communication skills to translate complex project status, risks, and trade-offs into clear narratives for senior leadership and customers
- Comfortable with data and tooling—able to build and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and tracking systems; confident with project management tools (Fibery, Jira, Asana, or similar)
- Fluent in English (required); other European languages preferred
- Experience in infrastructure or energy sector is a plus but not essential
