Salary: USD 150,000 - 175,000 / annual
Metropolis Technologies is building AI-powered solutions for the Recognition Economy, transforming how people interact with parking, retail, and hospitality through intelligent systems. As Director, Partner Success, you will own end-to-end success and retention for a portfolio of strategic partners, reporting directly to the VP of Partner Success.
You will serve as the primary relationship owner and internal advocate for each partner, translating their business objectives into actionable cross-functional initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
• Owning partner success, retention, and financial performance across your portfolio
• Serving as the day-to-day relationship owner, channeling partner needs to product, data, operations, and finance teams
• Developing deep understanding of each partner's business objectives, operational goals, and financial budgets
• Delivering on partner budget commitments while ensuring internal financial targets are met
• Producing high-quality weekly updates, Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with the Data team
• Championing new Metropolis initiatives and products to drive adoption and value
• Unlocking growth by expanding service offerings and adding new accounts within existing partner portfolios
• Building durable executive-level trust through consistent delivery, responsiveness, and visible ownership
• Leading resolution of partner escalations through cross-functional coordination
• Representing partner needs internally to shape product, operations, and data priorities
The role requires 4 days per week in-office in Chicago, with approximately 5–10% travel for partner meetings and corporate events.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of relevant experience in client success, account management, or strategic customer-facing roles with a track record of retaining and growing complex accounts
• Strong financial acumen: comfort owning P&L performance, interpreting financial reports, managing budgets, and discussing performance with partner executives
• Clear, concise, professional communication in writing and in person with cross-functional teams and external audiences from operations to C-suite
• High responsiveness and follow-through on all partner and colleague commitments
• Complete ownership of projects and action items to drive them to completion independently
• Ability to build trusted relationships at multiple organizational levels from local operations through executive leadership
• Skill in navigating and influencing internal product, data, operations, and finance teams
• Strong data storytelling skills to translate operational and financial metrics into persuasive value narratives
• Composure under pressure to defuse escalations and make sound decisions with imperfect information
• Experience leveraging AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive, high-output processes

• Background in parking industry or experience in real estate, mobility, hospitality, or operationally complex B2B service environments
