As Director of Strategic Accounts for the Western U.S., you will lead enterprise sales efforts targeting Fortune 500 and large mid-market companies in the region. Your primary responsibilities include prospecting and closing new strategic business by building C-suite and executive relationships, developing internal champions at prospect organizations, and driving expansion within key accounts.
You will work collaboratively with Motive's go-to-market team, including technical resources, to demonstrate product integrations and ecosystem value. You'll leverage customer analytics and internal resources to optimize buying decisions and increase perceived value. The role requires managing your own territory independently, meeting and exceeding revenue quotas, and developing deep product and market knowledge to provide consultative insights.
Key activities include resolving complex customer problems, planning to meet business goals, studying market trends, and bringing market feedback back to inform product iterations. You'll sell across multiple verticals including trucking, oil & gas, construction, agriculture, and manufacturing.
Required qualifications: 7+ years of enterprise SaaS or industry-relevant field sales experience, proven track record of exceeding quotas and growing your book of business, ability to build rapport with C-suite decision-makers, data-driven mindset, and best-in-class communication skills. Candidates must be located in Pacific or Mountain Time Zones.
