Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to join their leadership team. The company operates an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform serving critical verticals including aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy and environment, and robotics and automation. In this role, you will establish and manage strategic customer relationships, driving growth and ensuring seamless implementation of complex projects. You will report to the VP of Strategic Account Management and develop customer engagement strategies that support the company's ambitious growth objectives. Your responsibilities include managing multimillion-dollar B2B relationships, advocating for customer needs across the organization, and ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions.
You will work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization, influencing without direct authority and driving accountability across teams. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, using data-driven insights to optimize performance and guide strategic decisions. You will manage demand generation tactics, leverage CRM platforms and account planning tools, and provide executive-level reporting and presentations.
Required qualifications include 8+ years in strategic account management, sales, or business development in industrial, engineering, or manufacturing environments. You must demonstrate proven success managing complex B2B relationships and closing large opportunities. A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field is required; an MBA or equivalent experience is preferred. You should have solid business insight into aerospace & defense, energy systems, medical, advanced automation, and clean tech sectors. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with tools like HubSpot or Salesforce are essential. The ideal candidate is dedicated, adaptable, resourceful, and committed to continuous learning through Lean principles and structured problem-solving.
