As Director of Solutions Engineering, you lead the presales technical function, owning the entire pilot lifecycle from initial customer conversation through deal signature. You are part technical implementer and part consultative seller, sitting directly with customers to understand their fraud, bot, and fake-account challenges, then designing and implementing the right Verisoul setup to solve them.
Key responsibilities include: owning pilots end-to-end (integration, data review, value proof, ROI analysis, deal closure); designing technical architecture and integration paths tailored to each customer's use case; building deep understanding of how Verisoul's platform solves different fraud and bot problems; standing up partner integrations to accelerate customer time-to-value; working closely with customers through pilots and post-sale technical implementation; partnering with the Director of Customer Success on deal handoffs; and building tools and automations to streamline onboarding for future customers.
You report directly to the CEO and sit on the Customer Solutions team. Your closest partner is the Director of Customer Success, who owns accounts post-close while you own the technical sale and pilot phase. You also collaborate with Sales (providing technical proof and ROI), Engineering (feeding back customer needs), and an offshore Customer Solutions team.
This is a full-time, in-office role in Austin, TX, requiring 5 days per week on-site. The role combines technical depth with sales acumen and customer empathy.
