Vega is a fast-growing cybersecurity startup building an AI-native platform for security operations centers (SOCs). The company is redefining security analytics and operations for enterprise customers, with headquarters in New York and Tel Aviv.
You will lead Vega's enterprise sales organization across the Western U.S., managing a team of Regional Sales Managers responsible for winning and expanding large enterprise and strategic accounts. This is a first-line leadership role requiring hands-on sales expertise combined with team-building and coaching capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Hiring, onboarding, and developing a high-performing enterprise sales team
- Driving regional revenue, pipeline generation, new-logo acquisition, and account expansion
- Partnering directly with sales reps on complex enterprise deals, account strategy, competitive positioning, and negotiations
- Building and executing repeatable motions for acquiring new enterprise logos and expanding strategic accounts
- Engaging CISOs and VP-level security leaders at prospects, customers, and channel partners
- Establishing a field culture centered on proactive pipeline generation and disciplined territory execution
- Running pipeline reviews, deal inspections, and forecasting with high accuracy and accountability
- Leveraging channel partners to create pipeline and accelerate enterprise opportunities
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success
- Representing Vega in the market through customer meetings, executive briefings, and industry events
You bring 10+ years of enterprise, quota-carrying sales experience in cybersecurity or enterprise software with increasing responsibility. You have 2+ years leading enterprise sales teams as a first-line manager, including hiring and developing high-performing reps. You have a demonstrated track record selling into large, complex enterprises with six- and seven-figure deal sizes, building strategic account plans, and closing multi-year agreements. You understand modern security architectures (SIEM, XDR, security data lakes, cloud-scale analytics) and can engage credibly with security executives. You have experience leveraging channel partners, strong forecasting discipline, and exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Willingness to travel regionally for key customer and partner moments is expected.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience selling cloud-based data solutions, existing relationships with Fortune 1000 security leaders in the West, experience displacing legacy SIEM platforms, recent startup experience (Series B/C), and familiarity with Vega's AI-driven SOC workflows.
