Kasa is a tech-enabled hospitality brand that manages stylish, professionally operated hotel and apartment-hotel properties across dozens of US markets. The company combines automation, AI-driven pricing, and data-driven operations to deliver reliable, well-priced accommodations for business and leisure travelers. As Director of Sales, you will lead the commercial strategy and execution for STILE Downtown LA by Kasa, reporting to the Portfolio General Manager. You will manage a team including Regional Sales Managers, Sales Managers, Revenue Management, Reservations, and Operations staff in a collaborative, performance-driven environment. Key responsibilities include: - Architecting and optimizing the end-to-end sales motion for a boutique hotel context, with focus on creative process design, partnerships, and profitable growth - Setting commercial strategy and market positioning for STILE DTLA while influencing how Kasa leverages technology and distribution across its broader portfolio - Owning sales strategy and execution across all market segments: leisure travel, corporate preferred, Business Transient, groups, and SMERF - Translating portfolio-level revenue targets into segment, channel, and territory plans with weekly operating rhythms and dashboards - Identifying and unlocking new revenue streams through creative packaging, partnerships, and account strategies; optimizing ADR, occupancy, and contribution margin - Designing scalable sales processes tailored to boutique hospitality, with tight handoffs to Revenue Management and Operations - Building and developing the sales team through coaching, hiring, role design, and clear success profiles - Cultivating executive-level relationships with corporate travel managers, TMCs, event planners, relocation firms, and local partners - Coaching the team on complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations and setting pricing/approval frameworks that balance speed with profitability - Thriving in ambiguity, testing hypotheses quickly, and scaling what works while bringing the team along with clear narratives and continuous improvement mindsets You will be energized by building sales engines, leading teams, and shaping market perception for an innovative hospitality brand.
