As Director of Sales for Global Logistics Payments, you will build and lead the sales team focused on Brazil's logistics and freight corridor, converting FX, tax, and treasury inefficiencies into transaction volume. This is a player-coach role reporting to the Head of Sales, where you will carry your own strategic accounts while coaching and ramping your team.
Key responsibilities include: hiring, ramping, and coaching a growing team of enterprise sales executives; owning the sales pipeline, forecast, and TPV target for the logistics/freight segment; getting directly involved in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals; defining and refining the freight-first go-to-market playbook for Brazil's global trade flows; partnering with compliance and product on regulatory translation (BCB/BACEN, IOF, PIX rails); and running team pipeline reviews, ramp plans, and performance management.
You bring 10+ years of progressive enterprise sales or business development experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or global trade, with 3+ years directly managing or coaching quota-carrying reps. You have a track record of building or scaling a sales team or segment from early stage into a repeatable, forecastable motion. You have established relationships and firsthand experience selling into Brazil's international trade, logistics, and freight ecosystem. You are financially fluent with FX, treasury, tax, and cross-border payments concepts. You are fluent in English and Portuguese (native or near-native).
You thrive as a genuine player-coach who wants to carry deals yourself, not just manage from a dashboard. You are comfortable building process and playbooks from scratch. You have genuine curiosity about cross-border trade, logistics, and regulatory mechanics.
The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the Sao Paulo office. Compensation includes base salary, variable compensation, health insurance, meal vouchers, paid time off, and learning and development budget.
