As Director of Sales Enablement, you'll be the connective tissue across the go-to-market organization, partnering with Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, Customer Experience, Recruiting, and L&D. Your mission is to ensure customer-facing teams have the knowledge, tools, processes, and content needed to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business results.
Key responsibilities include:
**Sales Enablement & Training**: Design and continuously improve onboarding programs to accelerate new-hire ramp time. Develop ongoing training in product knowledge, consultative selling, objection handling, and customer experience. Create certifications, learning paths, coaching resources, and scalable enablement programs.
**Data & Feedback Loop**: Analyze conversion, win/loss, and retention data to identify enablement opportunities. Review call recordings and customer interactions to surface best practices from top performers and turn them into repeatable playbooks. Track enablement-specific metrics and their impact on conversion and win rates.
**Cross-Functional Partnership**: Translate product positioning and competitive insights into practical sales playbooks and talk tracks. Prepare customer-facing teams for product launches with training and readiness plans. Ensure campaign messaging consistency across the customer journey. Support CRM adoption and process improvements. Gather frontline feedback and communicate customer insights back to leadership.
**Content & Communication**: Create high-converting playbooks, call scripts, objection-handling guides, and cross-sell matrices. Own organization and maintenance of sales enablement content including playbooks, competitive battle cards, and presentations. Develop scalable communication plans for launches and organizational changes.
**Tools & Process**: Own or co-own enablement tooling (CRM macros, content libraries, call recording platforms) to help teams access resources quickly. Partner with RevOps to maintain CRM data quality and process consistency.
You bring prior experience carrying an individual sales quota or serving in a consultative customer-facing role (Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Customer Success, or similar). You have 3+ years in a customer-facing revenue role and/or Sales Enablement, Revenue Enablement, Sales Operations, Product Marketing, or related GTM function. You've designed and scaled enablement programs that improve onboarding, sales readiness, product adoption, or customer experience. You build trusted partnerships across cross-functional teams, communicate effectively from frontline to senior leaders, and use performance metrics and customer feedback to measure impact. You have a builder's mentality, high emotional intelligence, and credibility with teams.
