GetYourGuide is seeking an exceptional commercial leader to own and scale the EMEA supply strategy, reporting to the VP Supply and Sales. This is a people leadership and commercial role with full P&L responsibility for the Sales organisation across the EMEA region.
You will lead a multi-layered team of sales, account management, and supply community management leaders across seven offices: Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Dubai, London, Paris, and Rome. Key responsibilities include owning supply performance and revenue expansion through best-in-class sales execution, raising commercial performance of existing supply partners, and securing strategic supply advantages through strong account management.
You'll coach and develop people managers within your organisation, building a strong bench of future leaders. The role requires proactive thought leadership to refine and build the playbook for a world-class sales organisation, collaboration with partner teams on AI-empowered sales tooling, and representation of GetYourGuide at industry conferences and meetings with CEOs and senior leaders of major attractions and theme parks.
Required qualifications include 5+ years in senior commercial leadership roles (Head of, Director, or VP) with demonstrated experience leading leaders across multiple markets or locations. You need a proven track record of consistently exceeding targets in quota-carrying sales environments, experience in both new business acquisition and account management/retention, and a background in high-growth marketplace, e-commerce, or SaaS businesses.
You should be a strong people leader with a track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining top commercial talent. An entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in scaling, fast-changing environments is essential, along with highly collaborative, low-ego leadership style. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with a natural ability to build relationships and win-win mentality are required. You must be data-driven and results-oriented, comfortable owning forecasts and commercial metrics.
Based in Berlin or willing to relocate, with willingness to travel regularly (up to 30%) to develop local teams and build relationships across the region. Preferred qualifications include prior experience as a General Manager or background in consulting, deep understanding of the EMEA travel or experiences market, and German or other European language skills.
