Aiven seeks a Director of Revenue Marketing to build and scale the company's global revenue engine. This is a commercially-minded leadership role responsible for driving top-of-funnel acquisition, nurturing leads, and accelerating deal velocity across both product-led growth (PLG) and sales-led growth (SLG) motions.
You will lead a high-performance team of field marketers, demand generation managers, and digital specialists focused on aggressive net-new logo acquisition and customer expansion. Key responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive demand generation strategies that drive signups and trials for PLG while generating high-value pipeline for the enterprise SLG sales team. You will develop and launch integrated, multi-channel campaigns targeting both technical audiences (developers/engineers) and senior executives (CTOs/VPs), owning strategy from initial awareness through mid-funnel sales plays.
Working closely with Sales leadership, you will develop and amplify sales plays, ABM strategies, and field marketing initiatives to accelerate deal velocity and increase win rates. You will maintain relentless focus on data, owning the revenue marketing budget and optimizing marketing contribution to pipeline, revenue, and ROI. You will establish robust reporting and attribution models to track campaign performance and revenue contribution.
As a connective leader, you will bridge Sales, Product Marketing, and Content & Community teams to drive revenue impact, ensuring Aiven's technical thought leadership is effectively leveraged into demand-driving campaigns. You will recruit, mentor, and lead a world-class team in a high-energy, fast-paced environment that fosters experimentation and excellence.
Requirements: 8+ years in demand generation or revenue marketing at high-growth B2B SaaS companies with proven experience managing hybrid PLG/SLG motions. You think in terms of ARR and pipeline, understand sales cycles deeply, and possess strong analytical skills and marketing tech stack expertise. You have a growth hacker mindset, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are an exceptional communicator and team builder.
