Daymark Health is a value-based oncology company transforming cancer care through a comprehensive, personalized platform combining dedicated care navigation, symptom-focused support, behavioral health, and social resources with evidence-based interventions and hybrid in-person/virtual care. As Director of Recruiting, you will own the talent strategy and lead a small, high-caliber recruiting function during a critical growth phase. The company is scaling from ~50 to 150-200 people over the next several quarters, launching new markets and building out the corporate team. You will build and lead a team starting with a Clinical Recruiter and coordinator support while remaining deeply hands-on yourself. Key responsibilities include: owning the hiring plan as a single source of truth for headcount across clinical and corporate roles tied to market launch dates and financial planning; learning the business, recruiting philosophy (outcomes-based structured interviews), and tools while assessing scalability; diagnosing and stabilizing the recruiting funnel by identifying at-risk roles and personally intervening; building a market entry playbook by mapping oncology and value-based care talent landscapes to new geographies; and partnering with clinical and market leadership to ensure market readiness. You will be a business partner and consultant to senior leadership, not an order taker. Recruiting at Daymark is unusual—hiring niche roles requiring specific oncology and value-based care backgrounds in markets where Daymark is not yet established. By end of 2026 and into Q1-Q2 2027, you will have delivered the hiring plan on time and at quality bar, built and developed your recruiting team, owned recruiting operations with reporting, ATS configuration, and defined SLAs, trained hiring managers on structured interviewing to improve decision quality, and begun building Daymark's employer brand as a destination for clinicians and operators wanting to change cancer care.
