Help Scout is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to own the company's product positioning, narrative, and go-to-market strategy in a competitive, fast-growing market. You'll report to the VP of Marketing and lead the product marketing function, including managing a Lead Product Marketing Manager.
Key responsibilities include: developing and executing quarterly and long-term product marketing strategy informed by market trends and competitive analysis; building and scaling the product marketing team over the next 12-18 months; enabling the broader company (sales, support, product) with frameworks and messaging to articulate product value; shaping competitive intelligence into strategic insights that inform product-led growth and sales strategies; owning major product launches and seasonal release events end-to-end; and representing Help Scout's product story externally through guest posts, podcasts, and social channels to establish category leadership.
You'll be responsible for positioning Help Scout's AI-driven innovations credibly in the market, ensuring they land as real customer value rather than feature noise. This is a strategic role requiring deep expertise across all core product marketing disciplines: positioning, messaging, buyer personas, sales enablement, and launches.
