As Director of Product Management for Engines, you will own the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution for Checkmarx's scanning engine portfolio—the core detection technology customers rely on to identify and prioritize code risk. This is a leadership role managing a team of product managers while driving enterprise-grade accuracy, scale, and trust.
Key responsibilities include:
• Develop and own a multi-year product strategy and roadmap for the engine portfolio, making critical investment trade-offs that determine competitive positioning and revenue impact.
• Build and lead a high-performing product management team, setting direction, developing talent, and maintaining consistent quality standards across technical domains.
• Establish detection quality and performance as measurable business outcomes with clear targets and evidence-based progress tracking.
• Partner with R&D leadership to align engineering capacity and delivery commitments to the roadmap, ensuring feasibility and timely execution.
• Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into differentiated strategy that drives adoption and revenue growth.
• Align GTM, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams behind the engine narrative, owning market credibility and positioning.
• Engage enterprise customers and C-level stakeholders to validate strategy, build long-term partnerships, and resolve business-critical escalations.
• Represent engine strategy internally and externally at executive reviews, customer briefings, industry events, and analyst engagements.
This role requires deep product leadership experience, ability to manage cross-functional teams, and expertise in technical product strategy within security or developer tools.
