This is a player-coach Director role reporting to the SVP of Product. You will lead a small team of product managers while personally owning the Enterprise Platform product area—APIs, integrations, workspaces, permissions, governance, audit, and reliability. As the team evolves, you may also step into priority Core Product work where your judgment can have the greatest impact.
You will split your time roughly 50/50 between functional leadership and individual contribution. As a leader, you will run planning and reviews, set metrics, coach PMs, and establish operating cadence between Product and Engineering. As an IC, you will own the hardest platform surface area, personally driving Enterprise Platform from customer understanding through strategy, product definition, execution, launch, adoption, and learning.
Key responsibilities include: setting product direction for APIs, integrations, workspaces, permissions, and governance in partnership with customers, Design, and Engineering; making hard product choices to separate reusable capability from one-off requests; turning company strategy into clear outcomes, priorities, and metrics; establishing productive cross-functional cadence; managing and coaching a PM team; and creating coherence across four product areas (Agentic Product, Core Product, Data & Onboarding, and Enterprise Platform).
Success in year one means delivering meaningful customer and business results in your product charter, establishing a shared operating cadence that produces clearer decisions, improving product reviews and demos, strengthening PM team judgment and ownership, and reducing routine executive dependence.
You should have experience as a player-coach leading PMs while owning meaningful scope; depth in enterprise platform product (APIs, integrations, permissions, governance, reliability, or AI); technical judgment strong enough to earn engineering trust; product operations instinct for installing planning and metric practices; executive presence to engage with CEO, customers, and board; and comfort with ambiguity and detail. Nice-to-haves include building production AI, agent, workflow automation, or data products; experience in manufacturing, quality, or reliability domains; and scaling a company from Series B through enterprise readiness.
